Neurological manifestations can occur during coronavirus disease 19 (COVID-19). Several pathogenic mechanisms have been hypothesized, without conclusive results. In this study, we evaluated the most frequent neurological symptoms in a cohort of hospitalized COVID-19 patients, and also investigated possible relationship between plasmatic inflammatory indices olfactory disorders (ODs) muscle pain creatine kinase (CK).We consecutively enrolled patients. A structured questionnaire concerning typical symptoms, focusing on headache, dizziness, ODs, taste (TDs), pain, was administrated by telephone interviews.Common were reported early phase disease, with median onset ranging from 1 to 3 days. Headache showed tension-type features more frequently associated history headache. Patients ODs less needed oxygen therapy. Inflammatory did not significantly differ patients ODs. Muscle show any association CK level but arthralgia headache.In our cohort, an symptom COVID-19, milder forms disease. seems reflect common flu-like syndrome, infection-specific.
