ABSTRACT
Rectal cancer is associated with a higher rate of surgical complications. The ability to predict the risk complications before treatment would facilitate design personalized strategies optimally suited for each patient. We retrospectively studied 260 patients rectal who underwent radical surgery examine relations between and 5 types scores. Complications developed in 56 (21.5%). Nineteen had infectious complications, 16 intestinal obstruction, 12 other Twelve out 187 received low anterior resection anastomotic leakage. Estimation Physiologic Ability Surgical Stress Comprehensive Risk Score (E-PASS CRS) Neutrophil-to-lymphocyte Ratio (NLR) were significantly related all Apgar was Prognostic Nutritional Index obstruction. Colorectal Operative Severity Enumeration Mortality Morbidity A multivariate analysis showed that body-mass index, E-PASS CRS, NLR independent factors In particular, only score could be evaluated surgery. Five scores useful methods evaluating risks cancer. can predicted leakage, suggesting it assessing need diverting colostomy.
