ABSTRACT
Abstract Background Kidney and life outcomes remain unsatisfactory in patients with microscopic polyangiitis (MPA). Appropriate treatment intensity must be provided to the appropriate patients. To identify severe cases early, we investigated factors related kidney outcomes. Methods We included diagnosed MPA based on myeloperoxidase-antineutrophil cytoplasmic antibody (MPO-ANCA) positivity histopathology results after biopsies between January 1, 2021, May 11, 2023, at 10 affiliated centers, including our hospital. Death, maintenance dialysis, estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) < 15 6 months of were defined as poor prognosis groups, associated these conditions investigated. Results 84 (36 men 48 women) this study. Median age was 73.8 (interquartile range: 71–81) years. After treatment, proportion group 16.7 %, a mortality 7.1 % 9.5 %. Area under receiver operating characteristic curve showed that eGFR 2 weeks had comparable prognostic performance equal 4 (area curve: 0.875 0.896, respectively). adjustment by various factors, significantly (p = 0.031). Conclusion function start for can predict prognosis.
