ABSTRACT
Abstract Purpose The potential of renal MRI biomarkers has been increasingly recognised, but clinical translation requires more standardisation. PARENCHIMA consensus project aims to develop and apply a process for generating technical recommendations on MRI. Methods A task force was formed in July 2018 focused five methods. draft attaining distributed publicly consultation finalised at an open meeting (Prague, October 2018). Four expert panels completed surveys between March 2019, discussed results refined the face-to-face (Aarhus, 2019) second round (May 2019). Results seven-stage defined: (1) formation panels; (2) definition context use; (3) literature review; (4) collection comparison protocols; (5) generation by approximate Delphi method; (6) reporting vendor-neutral vendor-specific terms; (7) ongoing review updating. Application resulted 166 statements. Conclusion generated meaningful across very different methods, while allowing improvement refinement as issues are resolved. likely be widely supported community thereby promote harmonisation.
