ABSTRACT
The purpose of this study was to extend the application self-expandable metallic stents by investigating their usefulness in treating colorectal obstructions caused unresectable extrinsic tumors. From January 2000 November 2005, a total 60 stenting procedures were performed, and 57 deployed 39 patients with tumors. success rate complications analyzed retrospectively. The most common etiology location obstruction advanced gastric cancer transverse colon.
