ABSTRACT
Through the exploration of disease risk analysis methods employed for four different UK herpetofauna translocations, we illustrate how hazards can be identified, and analysed. Where ecological or geographical barriers between source destination sites exist, parasite populations are likely to differ in identity strain two sites, elevating from increasing number category requiring analysis. Simplification translocation pathway through avoidance these reduces disease. The tool is intended aid conservation practitioners decision making relating prior implementation a translocation.
