ABSTRACT
The purpose of this study was to describe the impact sex and cytochrome P450 3A5 (CYP3A5) variant on blood concentration tacrolimus in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus or rheumatoid arthritis. (ng/mL) divided by daily dose (mg/day) patient's weight (kg) (C/D) obtained from 55 patients. C/D value analysed according genetic variation CYP3A5 ATP binding cassette subfamily B member 1 (ABCB1), sex, age. CYP3A5*3/*3 group significantly higher than CYP3A5*1/*1 *1/*3 groups (p < 0.05, effect size: d = 1.40). In group, men women 1.78). Furthermore, aged over 50 years under 1.18). contrast, ABCB1 variations did not show any significant value. Since varies depending age, these factors should be considered when studying difference CYP3A.
