ABSTRACT
This research paper focuses on the utilization of jute, and kevlar fiber, as reinforcements in vinyl epoxy based composites. Fiber-reinforced polymer (FRP) composites are widely used because they cost-effective to produce, can be easily fabricated, possess superior strength compared pure resins. Either synthetic fiber (SF: like glass, carbon, kevlar) or natural (NF) polymers. Due easy accessibility, lightweight, economical cost production adequate properties, jute is most commonly NF. study involved reinforced with fibers an experimental was conducted investigate influence stacking sequence mechanical properties Composites different sequences were fabricated using hand lay-up method. Mechanical tests tensile, inter laminar shear, flexural, impact strengths, hardness carried out. Scanning electron microscopic analysis failure mechanism. It observed that KKKK (four layers Kevlar fiber) showed good shear excellent under tension, bending, loading conditions followed by KJKJ (Kevlar-jute-kevlar-jute) sequence.
