ABSTRACT
To compare keratometric astigmatism (ΔK) and total corneal (ΔTK) calculated by the IOLMaster 700 in cataract cases with regular ≥ 0.75 diopters (D). This study was a secondary analysis of database patients who had undergone examination between May 2021 March 2022 at Shanghai Eye Disease Prevention Treatment Center. The Surgically Induced Astigmatism Calculator v2.1 used to examine vector errors ΔK ΔTK. Subgroup analyses were performed based on axis, magnitude, age, gender, mean simulated keratometry (Km), white-to-white diameter (WTW). In total, 580 eyes included. centroid values ΔTK 0.28 D 4° ± 1.55 0.51 1.60 D, respectively. (1.38 [1.02-1.85] D) significantly larger than (1.25 [0.98-1.69] (P < 0.0001). absolute value error (|ΔTK - ΔK|) 0.24 (0.18-0.31) D. Among groups categorized |ΔTK ΔK| markedly reduced with-the-rule (WTR) group compared other groups; starkly lower WTR = 0.0006), while against-the-rule (ATR) increased magnitude age. difference showed no correlations Km, WTW (all P > 0.05). A significant obtained found Such group. contrast, this Moreover, not associated WTW.
