ABSTRACT
The purpose of this study was to evaluate the possible clinical application optical coherence tomography for assessing ovarian reserve in individual specimens human tissue fertility preservation.Ovarian examination by performed before cryopreservation. Three four subjects had hematological disease or cancer, and they faced a threat their due impending chemotherapy. One patient underwent extraction vitro activation dormant follicles as treatment. The current full-field technique can detect primordial non-fixed non-embedded tissue. These images are well correlated with histological evaluation test, including follicle counts. It demonstrated that could assess localization cortex, although optimization is needed application. Additionally, holds possibility patients unevaluable reserve.UMIN000023141.
