ABSTRACT
Abstract The microstructural evolution of titanium alloys under high-temperature conditions plays a key role in determining their mechanical properties and hot working behavior. This research presents an advanced method for calibrating β phase reconstruction software using situ testing on Grade 2 titanium, which achieves accurate the parent microstructure. In addition, unique observations forging Ti-6246 alloy are highlighted, demonstrating influence deformation parameters resulting grain structures. Using techniques such as electron backscatter diffraction Burgers orientation relationship-based software, elucidates behavior these phases varying thermal conditions. significant growth transformation dynamics were observed upon heating beyond β-transus temperature during calibration software. analysis demonstrates effectiveness precise reconstructing microstructure based inherited α s phase.
