ABSTRACT
Abstract Highly sensitive spectrofluorimetric methods were developed for the quantitative estimation of formoterol fumarate dihydrate (FFD) and fluticasone propionate (FP) in both authentic raw materials marketed dosage forms using a micellar-enhanced approach. The proposed are based on determination FP presence FFD first derivative emission spectrofluorimetry. peak amplitude spectra formed micellar fluorescence was measured at 465 nm after excitation 236 (λ max FP).The second method quantifies This measures micelle 283 nm, where there is no interference from FP, following 214 nm. In these methods, target drugs formation, with wavelengths FP. intensity enhanced β-cyclodextrin as system optimizing parameters affecting native fluorescence, such diluting solvents, surfactants, varying concentrations β-cyclodextrin. A linear relationship observed between concentration over range 50–100 ng/mL 30–700 ng/mL. simple, sensitive, non-extractive, economical, suitable routine analysis their combined forms. techniques carefully validated linearity, accuracy, precision, specificity according to International Council Harmonization (ICH) guidelines, demonstrating high sensitivity lower limits detection quantitation. Additionally, analytical greenness suggested procedures assessed Analytical Greenness Metric Approach (AGREE), Red–Green–Blue model, Green Procedure Index (GAPI).
