ABSTRACT
Multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWNTs)/Cu-doped ZnO composite powders were prepared by co-precipitation method, and characterized X-ray diffraction, electron microscopy, fluorescence spectrum, ultraviolet spectrum. Experimental results show that the MWNTs can be modified Cu-doped nanoparticles with hexagonal wurtzite structure after annealed at 450 °C, nanoparticle size is about 15 nm. Two (UV) peaks a green band centered 510 nm are observed in spectrum of MWNTs/Cu-doped powder °C. Furthermore, Cu doping significantly improve UV absorption ability ZnO.
