ABSTRACT
Malignant gliomas impose a significant symptomatic burden on patients and their families. Current guidelines recommend palliative care for with advanced tumors within eight weeks of diagnosis, emphasizing early integration malignant glioma cases. However, the utilization rate these in Germany remains unquantified. This study investigates proportion who either died hospital or were transferred to hospice from 2019 2022, prevalence in-patient specialized interventions.
