ABSTRACT
Aiming to address the Mo volatilization problem of super-austenitic stainless steel at high temperature, S31254 containing B and rare earth element Y with oxidation resistance was designed. It observed that a synergy + can promote formation dense Cr2O3 layer 1050 1100 °C, making MoO3 difficult. While oxide layers 0B sample from top bottom were divided into four layers: Fe-rich layer, Cr–Mn–Ni spinel (loose porous), thus undense in hardly inhibit volatilization, especially °C. In addition, synergistic effect on diffusion Cr surface calculated using first-principles calculations. The results demonstrated both addition enhance surface, while specifically combination O. Consequently, combined presence exhibits more favorable for improving density effectively inhibiting thereby enhancing S31254.
