ABSTRACT
Background Although clinical pharmacy is a crucial part of hospital pharmacist's day-to-day activity, its performance not usually subject to holistic assessment. Objective To define set relevant and measurable support activities key indicators (cpKPI saKPI, respectively). Setting Portuguese Hospital Pharmacies. Method After comprehensive literature review focusing on the metrics already in use other countries, several meetings with directors pharmacies were conducted obtain their perspectives practices existing metrics.
