ABSTRACT
The effects of ultraviolet-B (UV-B) radiation on photosystem II (PS II) were studied in leaves Chenopodium album. After the treatment with UV-B damage was estimated using chlorophyll a fluorescence techniques. Measurements modulated pulse amplitude fluorometer revealed that efficiency decreased both increasing time and intensity UV-B. Fluorescence induction rise curves analyzed mechanistic model energy trapping. It appears by occurs first at acceptor side II, only later donor side.
