ABSTRACT
The process of growth algae can be described using the images from microscopic analysis. new approach to assessment dynamics used data granulometric composition liquid medium and modified Avrami equation relating crystallisation process. This paper presents a comparison both methods (granulometric microscopic) for analysis changes in wastewater. experimental set-up consisted four glass tanks filled with biologically treated sewage, which grew. cultivation was carried out 8 weeks. During this period, observations sewage were conducted. study demonstrated that increase size flocs biomass also increased. Therefore, results obtained method laser diffraction are agreement observation flocs. Granulometric could be, next analysis, estimation sewage. knowledge will allow selection suitable wastewater treatment algal separation.
