ABSTRACT
Abstract Unconventional T cells show distinct and unique features during antigen recognition as well other immune responses. Their decrease in frequency is associated with various autoimmune disorders, allergy, inflammation, cancer. The landscape of the unconventional altogether (iNKT, γδ T, MAIT) largely unestablished leading to challenges affecting diagnosis research this field. In study, we have established age group–wise iNKT, MAIT on a total 203 healthy adult samples Caucasian population. results revealed that iNKT were 0.095%, 2.175%, 2.99% cell higher younger groups than elderly; however, there no statistically significant difference cells. Furthermore, negatively correlating age, supporting immunosenescence, unlike Our finding could be used for further age-wise investigation pathological conditions such cancer their prognosis, diseases pathogenicity.
