ABSTRACT
The purpose of this study was to evaluate the interstitial fluid status in a wide range age groups using diffusion-weighted image analysis along perivascular space (DWI-ALPS) method, which is simplified variation diffusion tensor (DTI-ALPS).This retrospective included data from 128 patients who underwent clinical magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) studies, including DWI, and were found have no abnormal findings brain on MRI. Three motion-probing gradients DWI applied an orthogonal direction plane. Apparent coefficient images x-, y-, z-axes retrospectively generated, composite color created locate projection association fiber area slice body lateral ventricle. ALPS indices calculated, correlations with evaluated linear second-degree regression analysis. Linear also performed for subgroup older than 40 years. In addition, variance (ANOVA) test among generations performed. The between index showed correlation -0.20 all group -0.51 0.39. ANOVA that 40's generation statistically significant higher value compared other except 30's generation. While, 70's lower generations. The DWI-APLS method distribution peaked This finding normal subjects may be fundamental disease cases. We tried glymphatic system results
