ABSTRACT
Abstract The study of silicone nano‐emulsions and softeners to alter physical properties undyed cotton fabric has recently gained a substantial interest. However, systematic investigation silicon nano‐emulsion on dyed not so far been conducted. This paper deals with the application nano‐, micro‐, macro‐emulsion softeners, combinations nano/micro nano/macro, fabric. We report effect nano/micro‐ nano/macro‐emulsion color yield characteristics All bleached fabrics were CI Reactive Black 5 then treated known concentrations by pad‐dry method. was combined micro‐ using blending ratios (1:1) nano/macro (1:1). Treated compared in terms such as handling, wrinkle recovery angle, bending length, abrasion resistance tensile strength. changes evaluated ( K / S ) values total difference (Δ E cmc ). results revealed that had better than macro‐ combination softeners. Among all samples, showed Δ values. Scanning electron microscopy analysis suggests fiber morphology very smooth uniform.
