ABSTRACT
Abstract In the present study, extraction and purification of saponins from Sapindus mukorossi Gaertn. were examined for effective utilization saponin resource. Saponins extracted S. using water. The conditions water process, including temperature, time, number times extraction, solvent‐material ratio optimized. yield total (TSS) pericarp was 33.41 % its purity in extract 45.71 %. solution further concentrated to 1/6–1/7 original volume, dried yeast BV818 that adapted (SW) screened. activation conditions, inoculum amount, fermentation period By under optimized increased 75.50 byproduct ethanol 5.33 (w/v), while content TSS final product decreased 18.29 15.30 (w/v). These results could contribute development industrial‐scale production saponins.
