ABSTRACT
Abstract Background Pulmonary embolism requires careful differential diagnosis as it is associated with a wide range of symptoms that may suggest different diseases such chest pain, shortness breath and syncope. Since the disease can be fatal, especially in cases where right ventricular failure hemodynamic instability develop, prognostic markers are great importance terms monitoring patient during treatment process. Aim We aimed our study to compare relationship between ratio D-dimer High Sensitive Troponin T (HsTnT) values with short-term mortality this Embolism Severity Index (PESI) scoring. Method Our was conducted patients who applied emergency department hospital 01/01/2022 01/01/2023 were definitively diagnosed thromboembolism after their evaluation. Findings. The success D-dimer/HsTroponin, D-dimer/CK-MB troponin/D-dimer indices calculated from laboratory test results predicting examined, comparison made PESI score mortality. Among these indices, found most successful index 7-day (AUC: 0.734; 95% CI: 0.653–0.815; p < 0.001). Additionally, D-dimer/HsTroponin statistically significant 0.697; 0.621–0.774; Conclusion FD-dimer/HsTroponin ratio, which powerful, fast, low-cost, easy simple test, used services instead marker pulmonary embolism, has high rate.
