ABSTRACT
Recently, medial patellofemoral ligament reconstruction has been emphasized for the treatment of patellar dislocation. This study compared results by adductor magnus tenodesis with distal realignment in patients recurrent Additionally, development osteoarthrosis was these two procedures at a median 10-year followup. Between 1994 and 2000, 47 consecutive were treated dislocation (18 knees) or Roux-Goldthwait procedure (29 knees). Redislocations, subjective symptoms, functional outcomes evaluated. Magnetic resonance imaging performed The incidence redislocation after surgery 7% group 14% group. Median Kujala scores 88 86 revealed articular cartilage lesions 22 knees (73.3%) followup, including 14 (46.6%) full-thickness loss.
