PRoNTo: Pattern Recognition for Neuroimaging Toolbox

ABSTRACT
In the past years, mass univariate statistical analyses of neuroimaging data have been complemented by use multivariate pattern analyses, especially based on machine learning models. While these allow an increased sensitivity for detection spatially distributed effects compared to techniques, they lack established and accessible software framework. The goal this work was build a toolbox comprising all necessary functionalities data, “Pattern Recognition Neuroimaging Toolbox” (PRoNTo) is open-source, cross-platform, MATLAB-based SPM compatible, therefore being suitable both cognitive clinical neuroscience research. addition, it designed facilitate novel contributions from developers, aiming improve interaction between communities. Here, we introduce PRoNTo presenting examples possible research questions that can be addressed with framework implemented in PRoNTo, cannot easily investigated analysis.
