ABSTRACT
For the epigenetic characterization of neuromyelitis optica (NMO), we determined whether messenger RNAs (mRNAs) and long noncoding (lncRNAs) are expressed differentially in subjects with without NMO. lncRNA mRNA expression profiles NMO patients healthy controls were generated by using microarray analysis. comparison, functions annotated gene ontology (GO) pathway analyses. The revealed that 1310 lncRNAs 743 mRNAs differed from those controls. Pathway analysis then demonstrated IL23-mediated signaling events, interferon gamma signaling, natural killer (NK)-κB pathway, chemokine receptors bind chemokines, GPCR ligand binding, metabolic disorders biological oxidation enzyme pathways play important roles Several GO terms including cytokine stimulus, response to cytokine, immune response, cytokine-mediated chemical activity enriched lists, suggesting a potential correlation Co-expression network indicated 183 458 included co-expression network. Our present study showed these may could provide basic information for new biomarkers or treatment targets alleviate
