ABSTRACT
Abstract The paper presents the analysis of hot deformation behavior Ti-6Al-2Sn-4Zr-6Mo (Ti-6246) alloy using theory dynamic material modeling (DMM) based on compression tests performed to a total true strain 1 at rates from 0.01 100 s −1 and temperatures within range between 800 1100 °C. processing maps according Prasad’s criterion were developed. allowed for placement domains describing areas potentially favorable combinations parameters. microstructure observations investigated specimens after in stability instability conducted. optimal parameters numerical Ti-6246 forging selected maps. After complex obtained results, microstructural part, realized. product quality assessment was carried out by computed tomography non-destructive testing.
