ABSTRACT
Abstract The possible positive consequences of trauma and its relationship to existential aspects are receiving increasing attention. However, little is known about how young individuals perceive the changed status these profound their lives. This study aimed explore identify themes trauma-related suffering, most meaningful moments, perception meaning realization in individuals. A total 139 trauma-exposed Mexican university students responded a survey consisting open-ended questions survey. Qualitative data were analysed using thematic analysis. main benefits suffering better attitude towards life, more maturity strength, new capabilities, reorganization values, purposes, beliefs. In reference significant importance bonds with people, spiritual personal achievements emerged. Both frustration observed. Meaning was mainly oriented career goals, other growth, financial goals. Findings suggested several patterns concerns for students. interpersonal levels cited as pivotal transformation people after trauma. Theoretical practical implications discussed.
