ABSTRACT
Breast cancer is the most common in women worldwide. Studies have shown that high temperature requirement factor A3 (HtrA3) involved important physiological processes including maintenance of mitochondrial homeostasis, cell death, and signaling. HtrA3 reported to be downregulated several cancers has been correlated with advancing stage. We performed a retrospective study using our breast tissue bank investigate whether expression lymphatic metastasis was estrogen receptor (ER) progesterone (PR) cancer. tissues from 156 invasive ductal patients or without were collected levels measured by immunohistochemistry western blotting. The lower In particular, than metastasis. no metastasis, ER- PR-positive tumors, but when analyzed, there difference between PR-negative tumors. These data suggest negatively not ER PR positivity negativity. A better understanding mechanism may provide basis for future development novel therapeutic target
