ABSTRACT
Genome-wide association studies have identified many risk loci associated with colorectal cancer. Strategies integrating biological data sets GWAS results will provide insights into the roles of single-nucleotide polymorphisms. We performed expression quantitative trait locus-based analyses using information provided in The Cancer Genome Atlas. Analysis cis-expression (eQTLs) 18 previously reported cancer resulted discovery five variants that were significantly gene expressions. trans-eQTLs three affect levels a neighboring transcription factor, MYC. These findings more comprehensive picture determinants and underlying biology loci.
