ABSTRACT
A brief review on biconical tapered fiber sensors for biosensing applications is presented. variety of configurations and formats this sensor have been devised label free based measuring small refractive index changes. The nonadiabatic optical offers a number favorable properties sensing, which exploited in several applications, including cell, protein, DNA sensors. types these present low-cost biosensor featuring miniature sensing probe, label-free direct detection, high sensitivity.
