ABSTRACT
This analysis aimed to evaluate demographics, migraine-related disability, symptoms, diagnosis and healthcare consultation, work productivity, treatment patterns according headache frequency in adults with migraine the OVERCOME (ObserVational survey of Epidemiology, tReatment Care Of MigrainE) (Spain) study.Data were obtained from an observational, cross-sectional, web-based conducted between October 2020-February 2021 Spain. Eligible participants adult members online panels living Spain who able read write Spanish fulfilled International Classification Headache Disorders, third edition (ICHD-3) criteria for or had a self-reported physician diagnosis.In total, 10,229 patients comprised sample. Only 56.2% respondents confirmed professional (HCP) migraine, despite almost all meeting modified ICHD-3 criteria. Pain severity, interictal burden increased increasing number days per month. Migraine impacted on respondents' increases presenteeism, productivity loss, daily activity impairment at higher frequencies. Over past year, 66.2% HCP visits specifically due most commonly general practitioner pharmacist. A subgroup 1277 (12.5% total population) met eligibility preventive medications, whom only 36.6% currently taking preventive.Results reveal substantial which is directly linked frequency.
