ABSTRACT
Abstract Compared with conventional steels, press-hardened steels an aluminium-silicon coating have a smaller welding range, which is resulting in reduced process stability. For this reason, analytical methodology required, can optimise the parameters and extend range significantly. Consequently, most publications focus on variation of time current at constant electrode force. This paper deals design force profile to improve weldability joint quality. The basis for investigation identification significant characteristic values by recorded signals.
