ABSTRACT
Using the method of comparative analysis, this paper explores different legal issues related to software management within universities. It is organized in two sections. The first section will deal with crucial issue ownership intellectual property rights copyrights and patents, outlining discussion reference specific objective review. regulatory framework field, which often opaque due regulations that characterize diverse forms rights, made even more incomprehensible by providing regimes according status person who has carried out research (professors, lecturers, fellows, graduate students, etc.). second provides an explanation role contract law, specifically licensing, exploitation software.
