Effects of nano thickener deposited film on the behaviour of starvation and replenishment of lubricating greases

The mechanism of grease replenishment in and around a starved point contact was studied this work. Greases made different thickeners same base oil were tested compared. Disappearing re-formation dynamic reservoir during operation revealed that bled to replenish contact. However, the process slow because presence fingers along track thickener-deposited film inside track. angles on chromium-coated surface surfaces measured. Results proved angle deposited remarkably increased compared with from 25° more than 40°. could be consumed continuous rolling, then enhanced.
