ABSTRACT
A systematic wear model of the cylindrical grinding process with an alumina abrasive belt from perspective single grain sliding was established in this study. The consists three parts: a cutting force derived by applying stress integration method, height analysis based on rate alumina, and mileage prediction multiple grains Gaussian distributed protrusion heights. Cutting force, full-size verification experiments were conducted. results indicated that reasonable agreement experimental outcomes, which suggests could be useful industry to predict belts.
