ABSTRACT
Abstract Fetal thrombotic vasculopathy (FTV) is the term used to encompass histologic findings identified in placentas with fetal lesions: occlusive and nonocclusive chorionic vessel thrombi, avascular villi distribution of a single villous tree, intramural vascular fibrin, hemorrhagic endovasculitis. The underlying etiology FTV largely unknown though hypercoagulability circulatory stasis have been main focuses literature explain hemostatic abnormalities. This article reviews both defining discussing, potential etiologies FTV, as well neonatal outcomes.
