ABSTRACT
Abstract Purpose of Review In the presented review, we have summarized recent achievements on use immobilized oxidoreductases for biodegradation hazardous organic pollutants including mainly dyes, pharmaceuticals, phenols, and bisphenols. order to facilitate process optimization achievement high removal rates, effect various conditions has been highlighted discussed. Recent Findings Current reports clearly show that are capable efficient conversion pollutants, usually reaching over 90% rate. Further, enzymes showed great recyclability potential, allowing their reuse in numerous catalytic cycles. Summary Collected data indicates as an biocatalytic tools phenolic compounds, making them a promising option future water purification. Data shows, however, both immobilization affect efficiency; therefore, is required achieve rates. Nevertheless, demonstrated trends several issues be solved near-future research, large-scale application wastewater treatment.
