ABSTRACT
Techno-economic development of chemical looping combustion (CLC) process has been one the most pursued research areas present decade due to its ability reduce carbon foot print during utilization coal generate energy. Based on a 2D computational fluid dynamics model, work provides approach study effect operating pressure—a key parameter in designing CLC reactors, optimum conditions. The effects pressure have examined terms reactors temperature, percentage fuel conversion and purity dioxide reactor exhaust. simulated results show qualitative agreement with trends obtained by other investigators experimental studies.
