ABSTRACT
The synthesis of metal oxide nanoparticles with the use plant extract is a promising alternative to traditional chemical methods. aim this work was fabricate MgO using Artemisia abrotanum herb water extract. biologically synthesized were characterized by UV–Visible spectroscopy, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) EDS profile and transmission (TEM). XRD studies confirmed that pure monoclinic crystallite structures formed. average size found be 10 nm. signal characteristic magnesium oxygen. FTIR analysis presence active compounds responsible for stabilization nanoparticles. showed good catalytic activity in reduction methyl orange (MO). also exhibit very antioxidant properties.
