ABSTRACT
Abstract The scientific evidence clearly demonstrates that human activity plays a significant role in the changes to world's climate, and it is crucial take adaptive actions mitigate impacts of these changes. Effective climate adaptation requires raising awareness among variety key stakeholders, such as executives staff public private sectors, while assessing incentives they undertake allowing them act at various levels engagement, ranging from global local. aim this study was investigate awareness, perceived values, recommendations expectations regarding change actors Greece, focusing on consequences country concurrent taken by stakeholders. A web-based survey designed conducted, responses were systematically collected, categorized analyzed. stakeholders believed planning implementing measures are addressing minimizing change. However, also noted plans alone insufficient counteract long-term, devastating more comprehensive targeted must be adopted. It concluded main obstacle adapting terms policy Greece lack financial resources, particularly institutions.
