ABSTRACT
Hypertonic saline solutions are in broad medicinal use for treatment of various disorders nose and paranasal sinuses. This trial aimed at the evaluation safety efficacy a hypertonic nasal spray within scope routine care an otorhinolaryngological outpatient setting. One hundred thirty-six patients were included into this uncontrolled clinical received 2.7% solution spray. Symptoms signs documented on ordinal scale 0–4 during initial final examination, both individual symptoms sum symptom scores (clinical score) assessed. Participating physicians furthermore evaluated benefit therapy. Clinical score decreased from 13.63 ± 6.65 to 7.85 6.79 (p < 0.001) between significant improvements observed 10 out 12 symptoms.
