ABSTRACT
Abstract Steam generating heat pump (SGHP) is a key technology for industrial decarbonization. For comprehensive evaluation of the feasibility and reliability SGHP in different sector, work develops thorough model assessing performance by considering waste recovery, CO 2 trading value, pollutant emission cost, addition to conventional criteria. This presents comparison thermodynamic sustainability various types SGHPs across sector. Additionally, conflicting relationships between coefficient (COP) exergy efficiency are balanced through application technique order preference similarity ideal solution (TOPSIS). The results show that all indexes connected an open (SGHPO) with scenarios higher than those flash tank (SGHPF). At most unfavorable operating condition system, COP minimum value 1.31 20.42%. These indicate replacing coal-fired boiler feasible could provide theoretical guidance optimal design equipment manufacture.
