ABSTRACT
Abstract Background Interventional radiology (IR) has evolved into a well-established medical discipline known for its minimally invasive procedures. Establishing culture of safety in IR settings is crucial to improve patient and quality care. This study describes compares attitudes about among professionals working with Sweden. In addition, this evaluates whether the WHO Safety Checklist routinely used radiological interventions. Methods cross-sectional survey uses an electronic questionnaire collect data from 25 units. The team members (radiographers, physicians, nurses, assistant nurses) were assessed using Swedish Attitudes Questionnaire (SAQ), which was adapted context. Results two highest factor scores/percentages positive responses found job satisfaction (90/94%) teamwork climate (85/92%), stress recognition had lowest values (54/25%). relatively consistent, few significant differences between professions (Factor scores: P = 0.039 satisfaction, 0.050 conditions. Percentage responses: 0.027 perceptions management). radiographers tended have slightly lower compared other these factors ( < 0.05). checklist not being on regular basis, but respondents recognized importance safety. Conclusions shows high scores different factors, having values. Areas that need improvement are management recognition. consistent across team, some aspects.
