ABSTRACT
Abstract Jasmonic acid (JA) is an important and widely distributed plant hormone. However, the molecular physiological mechanism of JA in improving drought tolerance response to sodium selenite limited. This work was performed investigate effects exogenous application promoting cucumber. The cucumber seedlings enhanced under selenite, positively influencing shoot fresh weight chlorophyll relative content altering chloroplast ultrastructure. contents JA-isoleucine (JA-ILE) increased significantly conditions. Furthermore, expression biosynthesis regulatory genes, namely, LOX ( Lipoxygenase ), AOC allene oxide cyclase AOS synthase MYC2 basic helix-loop-helix (bHLH) protein ) upregulated greater levels when added combination with treatment. study provides methods mitigate stress valuable theoretical support for further understanding signals.
