Constructing emotional meanings about Jair Bolsonaro in Brazil during the Covid-19 pandemic on twitter

Abstract Aiming to debate the power of counter-mobilization that emerged on Twitter during coronavirus pandemic in Brazil, we carried out a documental study collecting texts and images associated with #BolsonaroGenocida hashtag, between March 13 June 6 2021, period which intense public demonstrations took place against Bolsonaro’s government country. We analysed 1243 tweets 503 images, identifying main contents anchored objectified by hashtags, revealing various dimensions compose social representations Bolsonaro his management pandemic. The tweets’ comprehend political demonstration arising from part Brazilian people actions taken president Brazil Covid-19 pandemic, led thousands deaths could have been avoided; regarding results point an emotional anchoring image death. It is therefore important demarcate nature as specific platform for mobilization SR through sharing texts, ends up evoking emotions contribute accentuating identity group expressed.
