ABSTRACT
Abstract This study aimed to elevate the qualified rate (QR) of prescriptions and improve rational drug use while also minimizing adverse events in primary healthcare institutions within a designated region through information technology (IT)-supported precision management. In this study, retrospective analysis was performed evaluate changes QR event associated with 5,923,764 across 13 community health service centers Tianhe District, Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, before after implementation IT support. Detailed records analyses were conducted on specific psycho-narcotic drugs, appropriate antimicrobial prescriptions, incidence following introduction Following IT-supported management, witnessed notable surge average rising from 91.90% 96.97% 2018 2021 ( P < 0.05). Among this, psychotropic anesthetic as well antibiotics at same center showed significant increase, utilization demonstrated marked decrease. Furthermore, caused by high-alert drugs dwindled 225 cases/year 2020 109 2021. The integration regional remote prescription audit for management has improved quality diminished events, indicating contribution distribution high-quality pharmacy resources Grade IIIA hospitals institutions. initiative improves use, marking pioneering innovation practice that deserves commendation.
