ABSTRACT
'Co-control', or synergistically reducing CO2 and local air pollutant emissions, is an important strategy for cities to achieve 'low carbon' 'blue sky' simultaneously. However, there were few studies evaluate compare the level of co-control pollutants in yet. The present study proposed qualitative quantitative methods three (SO2, NOx, particulate matter PM) emissions key environmental protection China over two periods (2012–2015 2015–2018). Statistical analysis found that, though positively correlated with emission, no significantly positive correlation was between emission reductions reductions, indicating that effects poor general. By using effect coordinate system, evaluation showed less than half sample could total amount pollutants. employing indicator reduction equivalence (EReq), improved 2015–2018 compared 2012–2015. Further regression coal consumption economic development enhanced performance observed cities. case proved comparison city works well, can be used other countries regions promote global racing carbon co-control.
