Implantation of XEN gel stent in a patient with ocular cicatricial pemphigoid

ABSTRACT
Herein, we report a case of XEN gel stent implantation in patient with ocular cicatricial pemphigoid that successfully reduced glaucoma topical medication at one year.A 76-year-old male presented severe and advanced who required several medications to control intraocular pressure. Despite successful reduction inflammation immunomodulatory therapy, his regimen prevented total remission inflammation. One year after implantation, pressures were controlled without any medication, he had no off therapy.The represents useful intervention for treatment even the setting surface disease can improve outcomes concurrent inflammatory glaucomatous pathology.
