ABSTRACT
(Abstracted from Am J Obstet Gynecol 2024;230:379.e1–379.e12) Cardiotocography (CTG) is the most common fetal surveillance method during delivery, involving simultaneous monitoring of uterine activity and fetal heart rate (FHR). Newer CTG monitors also track maternal heart rate (MHR), to prevent artifacts from disturbing FHR detection.
